UR1 Professionals was founded in 2011 to serve behavioral healthcare facilities due to the overwhelming need to have a billing and utilization review company that gave personal attention to small-mid size facilities.

Chief Executive Administrator – Sharleena (Charly) Jordan
Charly has been with the company since its inception. She began working with Outreach Services/DARS nearly 2 decades ago. As Chief Executive Administrator, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program and supervising the staff. She takes the time to work with each staff member to ensure the UR1 Professionals team is cohesive and effective. Her experience allows her to have an intimate understanding of each facet of the organization. She is also responsible for broad administrative and program activities, including the execution and/or evaluation of program policies.
She helps cultivate efficient working relationships with the facilities we serve. Charly is a key member of UR1 Professionals and a wonderful, dedicated, dependable person. A true asset!
Utilization Review Specialist – Jan Fagerquist
Jan has worked in the field of Addiction and Mental Health for over 35 years and in the Utilization Review field for at over 26 of those years. Having worked with many other aspects of treatment she has a keen understanding of all our customer’s needs. Jan communicates frequently with members of our client’s staff and acts as a liaison between our company and our customers to produce excellent medical reviews based on national guideline standards and your client’s specific needs. She communicates frequently with the physicians that complete our reviews, covering a plethora of issues, compliance, and provides guidelines and tips on writing excellent reviews to your clinical staff. She is a master level therapist and has been with UR1Professionals for since 2012. Jan is a very dedicated team leader and exceptional utilization review professional!
Billing Manager – Robert Casey
Robert’s position as Billing Manager is very progressive and requires a strong ability to manage change as well as leading and planning the billing operations department. He is responsible for streamlining effective billing processes for all insurance companies both in and out of network. His position is highly visible and requires a strong leadership with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department. He has a proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems. He has excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and our customers trust him. His work ethic, honesty and passion for our work is without doubt a huge asset to UR1 Professionals.
Robbie is an experienced biller who has been with the UR1 team since 2013. His attention to detail and his knowledge of the disparities amongst the vast number of payers allows for proper billing, timely filing, and efficient processing of your claims.
Collection Manager – Shellie C
Shellie joined UR1 Professionals team as our collection specialists to utilize her knowledge and skills with Insurance and treatment. Her ability to facilitate, work as a team player, training skills and education supports our strong collection department. Collections is a complex position; however, Shellie manages this with ease. She is always learning new ways to negotiate with insurance companies, for optimal reimbursement.
Shellie started working in the field as a call manager for Outreach Services/DARS serving those in need seeking treatment. Having marketed and providing placement to many facilities across the US she served our clients well. Shellie then branched out to work at addiction treatment facilities to pursue her passions to help families and loved ones with their journey. Her years of experience as an admissions director, utilization review manager brings a special skill set to her position with UR1 Professionals.
